With our DIALux evo software, the designer can generate documentation for areas spanning several floors. Areas are a central concept in DIALux evo because they provide the limit values to be met for the evaluation of the lighting design. For example, the results for illuminance levels and glare as well as energy consumption are evaluated.

A typical planning case is the lighting of a staircase: If the planner wants to document the staircase as a planning case, he can define an additional area across several floors. With the new version, the planner can additionally assign the luminaires that are mounted on the floors to this cross-floor area, the staircase.

All luminaires assigned to the staircase are listed completely in the documentation for the staircase area. The planner receives documentation with a sketch, parts list and the energy consumption of the cross-floor area.
