If a building is imported as a 3DS model, it is considered like a furniture object in our evo software. For example, no rooms and storeys of the building are recognized, which makes the final documentation confusing and difficult.
For interior planning, a building should be designed directly in our evo software using a DWG drawing, for example. Here, of course, there is also the possibility to import an IFC model into our evo software.
In the context of an exterior design, a building can be imported as a 3DS model in order to illuminate it or it can be used for visual purposes only.
