Modern Interfaces for Data Exchange with DIALux evo


The previous STF interface is an older technology for data exchange between DIALux and CAD applications. DIALux evo still supports the import of STF files, but exporting to the STF format is not possible.


For modern data exchange, we recommend using our powerful IFC interface and DIALux Bridge for Revit. Both solutions enable efficient integration of lighting design into BIM processes and offer significantly enhanced capabilities.



IFC – Efficient Data Exchange with BIM Software


With the IFC interface, you can import complete 3D building models from CAD and BIM applications directly into DIALux evo.

This eliminates the time-consuming manual creation of building geometry. After completing your lighting design, you can export your lighting model as an IFC file and use it in other BIM applications.

DIALux Bridge for Revit – Seamlessly Integrate Lighting Design into Autodesk Revit


With DIALux Bridge for Revit, we offer a modern solution for data exchange between DIALux evo and Autodesk Revit.

Export your building model from Revit as an IFC file, carry out your lighting design in DIALux evo, and then transfer the lighting model back to Revit.


The luminaires are automatically transferred as native Revit families with their corresponding positions, orientations, 3D geometries, and technical luminaire data.
