Our lighting design software DIALux evo 8.2 has been solely developed only for Windows systems, which we support exclusively.

However, we can give you successfully tested workarounds, with which it’s possible to use our DIALux evo software 8.2 on an Apple system.

It's possible to use both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of our latest DIALux evo version 8.2 with the virtualization software VMware Fusion 8.1.0 in a Windows environment on a Mac system.

From Parallels 13 (released in November 2017) you can also use our latest DIALux evo version 8.2 in any Windows environment supported by our evo software on a Mac system.

Here you can find the video of Parallels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8P278cU0kE

More information about this issue can be certainly found in an Apple forum or the product websites of Parallels or VMware Fusion .

If these workarounds work with our latest DIALux evo version 9, we can't tell you that we haven't tested it yet.
