Our lighting design software DIALux evo has been solely developed only for Windows systems, which we support exclusively.

However, we can give you a successfully tested workaround, with which it’s possible to use our DIALux evo software on an Apple system.

It's possible to use both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of our latest DIALux evo version with the virtualization software VMware Fusion 8.1.0 in a Windows environment on a Mac system.

With other virtualization software like Parallels or Bootcamp you probably can’t install our latest DIALux evo version, because these software doesn’t support the OpenGL version 3.0 that we use in our current evo version.

When and if there will be a version in the future that supports this version of OpenGL, we unfortunately can’t tell you.

More information about this issue can be certainly found in an Apple forum or the Parallels website.
